Turns out it wasn't the bus in the picture on the last post. Here's the bus I actually took.
I am also including a picture of the inside. They sure put more into making the bus feel lived-in around here; maybe if I drove a bus all the time I would make it homey too.
The trip was pleasant; the bus was uncrowded; I think there were only about ten or twelve passengers at the highest point, and only four of us by the time we reached the bus depot in Bangkok. So, I had two seats to myself. We stopped at rest areas twice, and they showed the second G.I.Joe movie.
The trip took nine and a half hours, so right on schedule. It didn't seem so long; I didn't even finish all my blog posts.
