Well, we had a beautiful day for most of the trip. But, you can only expect so much in monsoon season.
As we passed Viking Cave, a dark cloud came up. We originally were supposed to stay out on the water until sunset, but as the wind picked up and it started to sprinkle, no one complained when we headed straight for shore.

We unrolled sheets of plastic around the sides and front of the covered area. They helped to protect us from the spray as the water got choppy.
As we came into Ton Sai Bay, one of the boat guys asked us to all crowd onto the front of the boat-he said we needed the weight in front to get up to the shore in low tide. It was quite cool out there in wet clothes now that the wind was blowing.
We made it back, and it was rather miserable walking back to the hotel in wet clothes in the rain, but it was worth it for a wonderful day. I can't wait to snorkel again.
