Well, I knew it was a bit of a risk coming to the Andaman Sea in the rainy off season, but from what I read there's often a break in the rain in early August in between the worse rains in July and September. It's a fifty-fifty shot.
I landed this morning in a pouring rain. But there's the ocean, right there by the runway. Surely i'll get some decent weather. If not, I can always leave Phi Phi and head over to Ko Samui on the other coast.
