Finally, perfect weather! Most of the clouds cleared this morning. I'm now on a boat with about twenty people, including the drivers; we are cruising around Phi Phi Don and the surrounding smaller islands, stopping at various points to sight see or snorkel.
Our first stop was a beach full of monkeys. We snorkeled for the first time not too far from there. It didn't take too long to get the hang of it. The water is so clear, and I saw several types of tropical fish. Most of them were yellow and black striped, but I also saw one that was bright yellow and one larger one that was a bright iridescent blue. There are supposed to be some small sharks somewhere along the way. I just wish I had an underwater camera!
